To the reader,
For this month’s devotions, we are going to be looking at some of the unsung heroes of God’s Word. Scattered throughout Scripture, there are unnamed individuals, or named but seemingly unimportant, that play such a vital part in the overall sacred story. We will be looking at some of these. There are also various “non-human” heroes we will be examining, both animate and inanimate. One thing is sure, there are no mistakes in God’s Word, and He did not use fillers to take up space. Everything found in the Bible has a purpose, and a message for us if we will just read and observe while being led by the Holy Spirit. In some of these devotions, the assigned Scripture to be read may come in the middle of the page, and some at the end. It will be helpful if you will read the passage when it is given within the devotion. May the Spirit guide our thoughts and apply His truths to our hearts!
